These online college degree rankings were calculated by analyzing tuition and distance learning fees at 39 regionally accredited online criminal justice schools that offer 53 distance bachelor degrees in the career areas of criminal justice, homeland security, law, and legal studies.
This is an objective ranking list of the most affordable online bachelors. Colleges do not pay to be listed in these rankings.
To rank on a Get Educated Best Online Colleges list, the degree profiled must objectively cost less than the average cost of all the distance degrees surveyed in the comprehensive data set. The average cost for the criminal justice and law data set was: $44,799
The online college bachelor degree rankings are based on a Fall 2011 survey of regionally accredited and regional candidate distance degrees in criminal justice, law and legal studies. Costs were valid at the time of collection and reflect the cheapest online degree option. (Fall 2011).
