February 4, 2010, Essex Junction, VT — Get Educated, Inc. has released its national reviews and college affordability rankings of online university masters degrees in criminal justice, law and legal studies. The college rankings are based on a survey of 31 regionally accredited universities that offer 42 distance masters in justice studies, homeland security, criminology, law and legal studies.
Fort Hays State University (Kansas) rated number one on GetEducated.com’s Best Buy rankings for its distance masters in liberal studies with a concentration in criminal justice. Online students nationwide will pay a remarkably low tuition of under $7,000 for this degree earned through distance education.
Essex Junction, VT – Get Educated, Inc., has released its affordability rankings and reviews of online universities that offer bachelor degrees in criminal justice, law, and legal studies career areas. The online college rankings are based on an objective survey of 33 regionally accredited universities that offer distance learning bachelor degrees.
College degree and career majors covered by the online education survey include criminal justice, police studies, law, paralegal, homeland security, forensic science, computer and Internet security, and military intelligence and security.
A high-school student who also is enrolled in online college is GetEducated.com's newest distance education scholarship winner.
Megan McConnell, 17, of Montgomery, AL, hopes to become a sign language interpreter for deaf schoolchildren. She is taking online college classes through Troy University's new Accelerate program, while finishing her senior year of high school at Prattville Christian Academy.
Megan has been awarded a $1,000 GetEducated.com Excellence in Online Education Scholarship. She is working toward her bachelor's degree in interpreter training at Troy, an Alabama-based school that offers both on-campus and online degree programs.
Rochville University, an online college lacking proper accreditation, awarded an MBA to a dog earlier this year. Yet Rochville diplomas continue to be touted by professionals on the resumes they post to LinkedIn.com, a networking site, according to GetEducated.com.
