Which online education schools offer the best deals in online learning for teachers? GetEducated.com surveyed 43 online teaching degrees for their cost rankings. They compared tuition and online learning fees at 31 different graduate education schools to come up with their consumer-oriented list of the best online degrees for teachers. Many states require licensed teachers to earn masters degrees, making the cost of higher education a critical issue for young professionals opting for a teaching career.
The survey found not all online education schools are the same – in terms of cost. State colleges online offer the best affordable options. In the teaching major area, the average degree cost was $17,613.

The researchers analyzed costs at 129 regionally accredited education schools to come up with an authentic data-driven list of the 114 “best buys” in online degrees for professionals in education careers overall.
Lamar University (TX) ranked as the best education school in the USA for affordable online masters. The cost of an online education master’s at Lamar, a public university, is only $6,450. That’s $10,000 less than the $16,731 average cost for an online master’s degree. The University of Wyoming (WY) offers the least expensive online learning degrees for both in-state and out-of-state educators. The cost is about $7,000 per degree.
