Thanks for posting.

+ You are in Ohio. I assume you are building your career in Ohio also. This business school has a solid reputation in your local hiring area. You'd probably experience a career boost with a OSU MBA because of the strength of the alumni network in your area. Never underestimate how strong an impact a local hiring alumni network can be in building a career.
+ Affordability -- At around $36,000 OSU is factually priced at the average cost of an AACSB Online MBA (SEE:
www.geteducated.com/online-college-ratings-and-rankings/best-buy-lists/best-buy-online-masters-mba-aacsb) The cost is low bcs this is a state school. (There is NO relationship between cost and quality when it comes to a college degree -- OSU costs less due to tax underwriting AND it is located in a much lower cost of living area than Northeasestern.)
??? What is your intended major? Some b-schools are better known for some majors than others. Do the faculty at OSU have the same interests/specialties as you need for your career? Does NE have a better match there for you?
Ohio offers:
Online Master of Business Administration
Master of Business Administration / Finance
Master of Business Administration / General Management
Master of Business Administration / Healthcare Management
Northeastern offers MORE MAJORS:

Master of Business Administration / Healthcare Management
Master of Business Administration / High Technology Management
Master of Business Administration / Innovation Entrepreneurship
Master of Business Administration / International Management

Master of Business Administration / Operations and Supply Chain Management
??? Learning Style -- Northeastern has a more open learning style
and uses a less traditional core course curriculum. NE is also better known for technological management and entrepreneurial education.
??? Student Satisfaction -- We have 4 very satisfied verified online student reviews for the online Northeastern MBA program - that speaks well for this MBA program. But there are a couple of issues that people have brought up about this one MBA so read all the reviews.
Please keep us informed on your decision making.
Many people lurk in the forum trying to decide among the 350+ online MBA programs.
Your insights will be helpful to them?
Anyone else out there know MORE about these 2 online MBA programs please post!
All the best

PS -- The Ohio Professional Master of Business Administration was recently recognized as the third Best Value for Executive MBA by Fortune Magazine. That ranking index looks at cost, employment and job value data. If what you want is a good job with decent pay and low debt Ohio offers this.

Both AACSB.
Ohio University pros: AACSB. 1/2 cost of Northeastern. I live in Ohio where it will be easy for me to participate in the 1-2 weekend residencies required (covered in tuition). ? better networking with cohort style program and required 1-2 weekend residency.
Ohio University cons: MBA program not ranked. OU new to online MBA program. Discourage skipping a session if needed for work, travel due to cohort style program.
Northeastern pros: AACSB. Ranked MBA program. Easy to sit out a session if needed for work or travel.
Northeastern cons: Double cost of OU.
Although cost of the program is 100% covered by employer I don't want to be greedy. If OU is as good as Northeastern then I would prefer to save my employer $30,000.
Already accepted to Northeastern and waiting to hear back from OU.
I would appreciate help from anyone who is familiar with these programs and can offer some insight.
Thanks!
