Hello all, I'm new here and desperately need help on taking credits to knock off as many credits required to get a degree online. The problem is that I am not a US citizen and I stay outside the USA and Canada. This means I cannot take CLEP or other US testing exams. I cannot take FEMA free credits too because I am not in US or have no sponsor from the US. Another problem is that I want to get the degree as fast and as cheapest as possible. I am confused on how to put up a plan from different sources of credit that could be tendered to get a degree. I will greatly appreciate your responses. I might post similar messages on other forums online in case anyone comes across them.and, I reside in Czech Republic. I will like to add that I prefer credits sources that are the cheapest out there and transferable to regional accredited schools.

Hi Rufu,

College degree requirements vary by nation, as you point out. I deal with college in the United States or Canada, sometimes the UK but I have no experience with higher education requirements in the Czech Republic.

Your best course of action is to locate an accredited university in your country that has an office for adult/ distance learning. Start by using the list in Wikipedia of colleges and universities in the CZP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ListofuniversitiesintheCzechRepublic

The Open University of the UK also has an office in your country and would be a great place to contact as they specialize in open learning, adult learning and competency based testing and degree programs.

I would contact the Open University http://www.open.ac.uk/ for the number/location of the office they operate in the Czech Republic. They are VERY affordable, known worldwide for excellence in open learning and offer many online business degree majors.

Please, if anyone else can help Rufu post your advice.
