I work at a Public 4-year college in Georgia, Middle Georgia State College Online
www.mga.edu/information-technology/.

The college is SACs accredited and the School of IT program also has ABET accreditation. We offer opportunities for learners to use their prior experiences through CLEP exams, Prior Learning Assessments for several IT courses, and credit by portfolio. If you choose to complete a MGSC degree, you will still have to meet requirements for the degree and USG system, but this route could reduce your time to degree. Tuition rates are $92-$140 per credit.

Hi Jonathon,

Thanks for the suggestion!

Is Middle Georgia State College Online a part of the University System of Georgia WEB BSIT online program?

I believe the Georgia state colleges Web BSIT is offered by 6 other state colleges online in the University of Georgia System --

Armstrong Atlantic State University
Clayton State University
Columbus State University
Georgia Southern University
Georgia Southwestern State University
Southern Polytechnic State University

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
School of Information Technology-Undergraduate
University System of Georgia
Georgia WebBSIT Program

SEE: For online college Reviews and Rankings of this IT program see = www.geteducated.com/profiles/show/online-degrees/university-system-of-georgia/school-of-information-technologyundergraduate/178/6686/bachelor-of-science-in-information-technology

This online IT bachelors is high on our Best Buy rankings -- very affordable online IT degree.

Can you tell us the policy limits at MGSA on bachelor degree credits that can a) be earned through non-traditional means like testing and ACE credits for computer certifications?; and 2) how many degree credits must be earned through Middle Georgia itself?

The normal limit on "experience credits" is 30 credits max of a 120+ credit bachelor's.

We here at get educated are always looking for online IT degrees that may help certified IT pros advance and earn accelerated online degree credits.

Vicky
