Apparently, even when it comes to online learning..."there's an app for that", as the saying goes.

While I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, two of the largest online education software providers, Blackboard and Desire2Learn, have versions of their applications that are available for smartphones.

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the mobile versions of Blackboard or Desire2Learn? Has it helped you at all in your coursework? Does anyone know of other platforms that offer access from smartphones?
