Hi Teacher,

Many qualified teachers find online instructor and course design jobs that can be completed by telecommuting. Get Educated maintains a great and free job board dedicated to online teaching gigs. Just go to the board at http://www.geteducated.com/online-teaching-jobs/positions-available

For more on how to find an online instructor or course design position, see our series on how to find teaching jobs online: http://www.geteducated.com/online-education-jobs/teaching-online-courses/515-online-teaching-job-openings/

Good Luck!

How can a qualified Ontario teacher work online (ie work from home) either instructing or designing curriculum? English as a Second Language and other middle school subjects. Curriculum or web based course design is prefered. I live in a remote area with few teaching opportunities available so I wonder if I could work in a field related to online education.

Thanks Tina - I agree. I think that most students prefer an organized and well laid out webpage. The principles of universal design seem to work for all students.

This are good tips to accommodate teaching students with disabilities. I think it's easy to get caught up in the art and design of the course pages but it's important to remember that this is not the most important thing for all students.
