Sales Executive – Educational Sales - Telecommute Remote

GetEducated.com, the preeminent media group that rates, ranks and verifies the cost, quality and credibility of online colleges, is expanding our national online media sales team. Our highly successful enterprise enjoys an 80 percent client renewal rate due to excellent results and service.

We seek to add multiple account executives to develop protected territories across the nation. Help online college programs build and differentiate their brands through annual promotional packages on the Get Educated site. Experience selling Internet media ads helpful. Our client base is mainly large and small non-profit universities, and we do not sell leads or use a burn-and-churn approach. Applicants must be able to build a long-term client base through the sales of annual fixed rate media plans.


Job Details: No travel. Phone sales. Remote position. Open to telecommuters. PT or FT.


Responsibilities:
  • Telephone sales of annual online directory and banner packages to college clients
  • Solicit and develop new university clients using company leads database and your own initiative and contacts
  • Build, service and retain a protected client base in your geographic region
  • Responsible for all phases of the pipeline from proposal writing to pitching to closing the deal and serving clients up through an annual renewal period
  • NO travel
  • 100 percent telecommute position

Skills:
  • Proven success in phone sales
  • Great phone personality
  • Experience with Salesforce for record-keeping and pipeline reporting
  • Exceptional client care record
  • Knowledge of CPI, CPM, CPL and Internet sales trends and cost models
  • Experience selling brand based, annual online directory or banner advertising
  • Experience selling to the higher education or training sectors

The right applicants will have proven multi-year records of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and a flair for client care. Must have a values-based approach to sales and enjoying helping clients assemble annual online college directory packages that spotlight their unique brand offerings. We offer a three-year rapidly rising career track. Base contract plus performance bonuses; FT first year potential $65,000-$100,000.

Location: Essex Junction, VT; Remote, Telecommute.
Requirements: Bachelor’s, 3 years successful phone sales. Excellent written and client care skills. Proven record exceeding quotas in a telecommuting phone environment.
