Online students should be prepared to pay as little as $11,880 or as much as $103,500 for a distance bachelor’s degree in business, according to GetEducated.com’s survey of 83 online business schools which offer a total of 391 accredited online bachelor’s degrees.
Ranking as the number one most affordable online business degree: East Carolina University (North Carolina) with a modest cost of $11,880 for an online bachelor’s for state residents. Out-of-state residents will pay significantly more ($54,480) for the same degree via distance learning. The University of Wyoming's distance bachelor’s in business administration ranked #2 at $16,080 for all online students regardless of their state of residency. Average cost nationwide for a regionally accredited, online business bachelor’s degree: $43,241. This year, GetEducated rated online business degree programs with letter grades of “A” through “F” in an effort to help consumers find their best values and bargains in online education. The University of Phoenix, America’s largest online business school, earned a “D-minus" for affordability, based on a sticker price of $64,800.
Drexel University (Pennsylvania) earned an “F” by topping the price chart as the most expensive business school at $103,500 for its Bachelor of Science in General Studies/Business.
